What are Cambridge ESOL exams?

Cambridge English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) examinations are taken by over four million learners in more than 130 countries each year. These exams cover General English, Business English, Academic English (see IELTS), and English for young learners. Abeschool offers group or individual preparation courses for most of Cambridge ESOL tests. These include the following:

General English

• Key (KET): pre-intermediate (A2)
• Preliminary (PET): intermediate (B1)
• First (FCE): upper-intermediate (B2)
• Advanced (CAE): advanced (C1)
• Proficiency (CPE): high advanced/proficient (C2)

Business English

• Business Certificates (BEC): Preliminary, Vantage, and Higher
